About Bucharest
Bucharest is the capital of Romania and has two million habitants.
The city-centre is beautiful even though it has been neglected for years and was partly destroyed by the previous regime. The children live together ‘as a family’ in appartments in the well known ‘blocuri’, the ‘communist’ flats in the outskirts of the city.
